SteuKompass is a quick check that provides a rough estimate of a likely tax refund or extra payment. It is not tax advice.
A) Quick check inputs (to calculate the estimate) When you use the quick check, we process the values you enter to calculate the estimate.
B) Stored as a “Run” (anonymous, no names) We also store a run in our database to improve the quality of the tool (for example usage patterns, plausibility checks and future model improvements). A run may include: Important: A run does not include your name or address.
C) Email (optional, double opt-in, stored separately) You can optionally provide an email address to receive the result and/or a reminder. We use a double opt-in confirmation link. The email is stored in a separate lead table and is technically separated from runs.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies to follow you across other websites. If we add analytics in the future, we will document it transparently here.
We keep runs only as long as needed for analysis and product improvement. We keep email data until you unsubscribe/withdraw consent or the purpose no longer applies.
Depending on the case, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
